Blazer had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They never let the Russell Red Devils get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Tomcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Blazer's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Russell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
