Basketball Recap: Tri County Find Success

If Sacred Heart wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Tri County, they should've done a better job of containing Drew Siems. The Tri County Trojans strolled past the Sacred Heart Irish with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 61-44 thanks in part to Siems, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds. The game was his seventh in a row with at least ten points.

Zac Strein was another key player, putting up six points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in boards (four).

Tri County's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Sacred Heart, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

When Tri County and Sacred Heart next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Tri County will try to stop Johnson-Brock's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sacred Heart will try to stop Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's three-game winning streak when the meet on Friday.
