There's no place like home for Aberdeen Central, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Mitchell Kernels on Tuesday as they made off with  a  3-0 victory. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Kernels recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  win against them.
 While Aberdeen Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-15,  25-21.
Aberdeen Central was led to victory by  Taylin Kleffman and  Kalli Huff.  Kleffman  had six  digs and three  aces, while  Huff  had ten  digs. That's the most  aces  Kleffman has posted since back in September.  Lauryn Burckhard also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
 They weren't the only good servers: Aberdeen Central  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 12  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mitchell only  served seven.
 Despite the loss, Mitchell still got an impressive performance from   Cassidy Korzan, who  had four  digs and four  aces.
Aberdeen Central's record now sits at 14-9. As for Mitchell,  with the  loss, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 13-5.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Aberdeen Central will  take on  rival Pierre T.F. Riggs  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Meanwhile, Mitchell is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Tea  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
