Volleyball Preview: Madison Mustangs vs. Gibson County Pioneers
On Monday Madison will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will face off against the Gibson County Pioneers at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Madison earned a 3-1 victory over Clarksburg.
Madison was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 19-25, 25-14.
Meanwhile, Gibson County made easy work of South Fulton on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.
While Gibson County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 31-29, 25-17.
Madison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Gibson County, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
