Ayala hasn't lost a match since December 26, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Diamond Bar Brahmas a 1-0 shutout. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Brahmas are ranked 610th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ayala's one-goal win came courtesy of Ryder Kilde, who's now up to six this season.

Ayala has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those nine contests. As for Diamond Bar, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-2.
