Volleyball Recap: Perry-Lecompton Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Perry-Lecompton entered their tilt with Pleasant Ridge on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rams. The Kaws have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Perry-Lecompton easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-9.

Macie Corcoran paced Perry-Lecompton's offense, picking up eight kills. Corcoran got some help from Emmy Reed and her 20 assists. Corcoran was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Perry-Lecompton's win bumped their record up to 21-13. As for Pleasant Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-16-4.

Perry-Lecompton has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Shawnee Mission South on the 11th. Pleasant Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
