Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for San Leandro + How To Watch

San Leandro had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hayward Farmers. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Farmers back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 21-25, 25-16.

Skyla Martin paced San Leandro's offense, picking up 19 kills. Martin got some help from Jayden Aranzamendez and her 20 assists. Martin also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Fiona Xu, each putting up five.

San Leandro's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Hayward, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

San Leandro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Tennyson on the 16th. Hayward has also already played their next match (against San Lorenzo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
