It was a good run, but East Bernard unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 64-36 defeat at the hands of the Hitchcock Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Brahmas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1047th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 277th).

East Bernard's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-14. As for Hitchcock, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-8.

East Bernard will venture away from home to challenge Van Vleck at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hitchcock has already played their next matchup (against Boling), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
