Basketball Recap: La Salette Academy Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when La Salette Academy challenged Pallotti on Thursday. The La Salette Academy Lions were dealt a 70-40 loss at the hands of the Pallotti Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 429th in Illinois, while the Panthers are ranked 92nd in Maryland).

La Salette Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6. As for Pallotti, they moved to 7-12 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

La Salette Academy will take on Danville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. La Salette Academy is facing Danville at the right time seeing as Danville is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Pallotti has already played their next match, a 54-45 win against Gilman on the 24th.
