Preview: Ben Lomond Scots vs. Summit Academy Bears
The Ben Lomond Scots will head out on the road to take on the Summit Academy Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ben Lomond has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team is hunting for their first win since January 3.
Ben Lomond pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. Their tough 82-59 loss to Morgan might stick with them for a while. Ben Lomond has struggled against Morgan recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Malakai Mack, who scored 16 points along with three steals. It was the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake East, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Providence Hall scored an imposing 61 points on Friday, Summit Academy still came out on top. Summit Academy had just enough and edged Providence Hall out 63-61.
Ben Lomond's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Summit Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-14.
