Baseball Recap: North Babylon Comes Up Short

North Babylon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Northport Tigers. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

North Babylon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Konig, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Konig is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Nick Atwell also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

North Babylon's loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

While they had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
