Soccer Game Preview: West Wilkes vs. Ashe County

West Wilkes is 2-7 against Ashe County since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The West Wilkes Blackhawks will challenge the Ashe County Huskies at 6:00 p.m.

West Wilkes came up short against East Wilkes on Thursday, falling 8-3. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

They hit East Wilkes with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Salem Woodruff, Miracle Gomez, and Leah Huffman.

Meanwhile, Ashe County waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 8-1 win.

West Wilkes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ashe County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

West Wilkes might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Ashe County in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Can West Wilkes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
