            Marietta is 4-0 against Walton since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Marietta Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Walton Raiders  at 6:00  p.m. Marietta is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2  points per game  this season.
Last Thursday, Marietta came up short against Etowah  and fell  49-37. The  game marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.

Despite the  loss, Marietta had strong showings from  Leah DeWitt, who  posted 22  points and eight  rebounds, and  Kyann Senior, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and ten  rebounds. DeWitt's evening made it 16 games in a row in which  she has scored at least ten points.
 Even though they lost, Marietta  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in 16 consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, Walton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They strolled past the Warriors with  points to spare, taking the game  47-31.
 Marietta's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Walton, their  win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 9-8.
 Marietta strolled past Walton in their previous meeting  back in February of 2022 by a score of  48-29. Will Marietta repeat their success,  or does  Walton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
