Softball Recap: Wynford Comes Up Short

Wynford suffered their closest defeat since April 18, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Crestview Cougars by a score of 4-2. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wynford's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Crestview, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Wynford will square off against Clyde at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crestview, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Monroeville on the 21st.
