Basketball Recap: Cristo Rey Jesuit Takes a Loss

Cristo Rey Jesuit came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 77-48 defeat at the hands of the Key Obezags. The Hornets have struggled against the Obezags recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Key's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anjo Yette led the charge by dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten steals. AJ Manganaro was another key player, going 5-for-8 to rack up 18 points.

Cristo Rey Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Key, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
