For the first time in his career, Cole Smith scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 51 yards and one TD as Appalachian took down Gaylesville 56-0. We rated that as his best performance since August 22nd, when he picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception.

Looking ahead, Smith and Appalachian will head out to challenge Ider at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
