While Santa Teresa's victory against James Lick wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Saints sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Comets on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Saints, who have now won three contests in a row.

Santa Teresa's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for James Lick, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Santa Teresa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Independence on the 17th. As for James Lick, they will square off against Overfelt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Comets are facing the Royals at the right time seeing as the Royals are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
