Softball Recap: Manheim Township Comes Up Short

Manheim Township managed to slip by Penn Manor the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Streaks came up short against the Comets on Monday, falling 10-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Blue Streaks were not able to get on the board.

Manheim Township now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Penn Manor, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Manheim Township will face off against rival Cedar Crest at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Penn Manor is set to challenge their familiar foe Warwick at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Comets 3.7, the Warriors 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
