Basketball Recap: Adrian Darby Key Part of a Team Effort in Tigers Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jellico, Rockwood was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Oakdale Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 55-40. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Rockwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adrian Darby led the charge by going 5 for 9 en route to 12 points and four steals. What's more, Darby also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Jayden Davidson, who posted 12 points.

Rockwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Rockwood's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Oakdale, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.
