There's no place like home for New Kent, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on the Poquoson Islanders with a sharp 11-1 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
Kenley Rowe was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Hannah Tober was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
New Kent always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
New Kent pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
