Brogan O'neal Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, Catoosa got the W thanks in part to Brogan O'Neal playing the best football he has all season. O'Neal rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.

On the season, O'Neal has thrown 7 touchdowns while averaging 190.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.6 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 54.6 rushing yards.

On Friday, Fort Gibson got the W thanks in part to Cash Keys playing the best football he has all season. Keys picked up 135 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 48 yards.

Fort Gibson's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Keys and Fort Gibson will be playing in front of their home fans against Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Judd Rudd Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Friday, Fort Gibson got the W thanks in part to Judd Rudd playing the best football he has all season. Rudd rushed for 175 yards.

On the season, Rudd has averaged 51.4 rushing yards per game.

Isaac Sheffield was instrumental in extending Grove's winning streak to five on Friday. Sheffield was dynamite, picking up 75 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

For the year, Sheffield has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 103.4 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 37.8 receiving yards per game.
