It was a good run, but Myers Park unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 32-24 to the Hoggard Vikings. The match marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

It was another big night for Tristan Shivers, who went 5 of 11 en route to 12 points along with seven rebounds and six assists for Hoggard. Shivers is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Avery Fitzgerald was another key player, putting up eight points.

Myers Park's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Hoggard, their record now sits at 10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Myers Park and Jacksonville will round out the year against one another at at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Jacksonville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Myers Park surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hoggard, they will challenge Mount Tabor at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Hoggard's defense has only allowed 21.9 points per game this season, so Mount Tabor's offense will have their work cut out for them.
