Softball Game Preview: Smithtown East Bulls vs. North Babylon Bulldogs

Smithtown East hasn't had much luck against North Babylon recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Bulls will host the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Tuesday, Smithtown East came up short against Commack and fell 6-2. The game marked the Bulls' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, North Babylon fell victim to Northport and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Tigers. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Smithtown East now has a losing record of 5-6. As for North Babylon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Smithtown East took their victory against North Babylon in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Bulls have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
