Volleyball Recap: Post Falls Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Pocatello

Post Falls faced Pocatello in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Thunder. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Teresa Smith paced Post Falls' offense, picking up ten kills. Smith got some help from Claire Ziegler and her 19 assists. Finally, Reese DeGraw kept Post Falls' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Despite the loss, Pocatello still got an impressive performance from Addison Gregory, who had 17 digs and two aces. Gregory has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played. Harley Bace also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Post Falls' victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Pocatello, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-12.
