Volleyball Recap: Allen East Gets the Win

While Allen East's win against Spencerville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Bearcats on Saturday. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bearcats, too.

Aniya Prowant was nothing short of spectacular: she had 25 digs and four assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last six matches.

With the win, Allen East broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8. As for Spencerville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Allen East will square off against Wapakoneta at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spencerville, they will face off against Memorial at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
