Soccer Recap: Montgomery Comes Up Short

Montgomery came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Benton Tigers, falling 5-0. If Montgomery were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to Benton when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Montgomery now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Benton, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montgomery will venture away from home to face off against South Williamsport at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Benton, they will head out to square off against Millville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
