Volleyball Game Preview: Leander Lions vs. Liberty Hill Panthers

Leander hasn't had much luck against Liberty Hill recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lions will be playing at home against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Leander comes in on four and Liberty Hill on five.

Leander will bounce into Friday's match after beating Rouse, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Lions walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Raiders on Tuesday.

Leander had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Liberty Hill got the win against Glenn on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The win didn't come easy: Glenn scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-18.

Liberty Hill's victory bumped their record up to 30-9. As for Leander, their win bumped their record up to 21-18.
