Volleyball Recap: Carbon Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carbon can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the American Heritage Patriots on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Dinos in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost four in a row.

Carbon's offense was headlined by Kyler Orth and Charles Tima, who picked up four kills apiece. They were helped by Grant Mathis and Connor Gleave, who contributed seven assists each. Finally, Gleave was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Carbon's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for American Heritage, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Carbon nor American Heritage have any future games scheduled.
