Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson Academy vs. Denver Christian

The Jefferson Academy Jaguars will head out on the road to take on the Denver Christian Thunder at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

After two halves, Jefferson Academy and Peak to Peak settled for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Denver Christian kept a clean sheet against Peak to Peak on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Pumas 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Denver Christian were the better team in the second half.

With that draw, Jefferson Academy's record moves to 5-2-3. As for Denver Christian, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-4.

Jefferson Academy skirted past Denver Christian 2-1 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Thunder have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
