Volleyball Recap: Karah O'malley Key Part of Team Effort in Hawks Win

The Bishop Hartley Hawks narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Wheelersburg Pirates 2-1.

Bishop Hartley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Karah O'Malley out in front who had 11 digs and three assists. Natalie Ference also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Bishop Hartley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive games.

Bishop Hartley's record is now 10-6. As for Wheelersburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.
