Soccer Recap: Rowlett Takes a Loss

If Rowlett was riding high fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Naaman Forest last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rowlett Eagles fell just short of the Garland Owls by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Owls earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Rowlett has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. The victory was the third in a row for Garland, bringing their record for this year to 7-8.

Coincidentally, Rowlett and Garland will both be playing Wylie the next time they take the pitch. Rowlett will host Wylie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Garland will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on March 4th.
