Elgin came tearing into Monday's game with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Wynford Royals by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Comets, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 22-25, 25-23, 25-13.

Elgin was led to victory by Jocelyn Wall and McKenna Wiseman. Wall had 13 digs and three aces, while Wiseman had 11 digs. That's the most digs Wiseman has posted over her last nine matches.

Elgin's record is now 9-2. As for Wynford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Elgin has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Cory-Rawson on the 18th. As for Wynford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Bucyrus on the 16th.
