Softball Recap: Euclid Takes a Loss

Euclid fell victim to Mentor and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 on Wednesday.

Euclid's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Mentor, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-3.

Coming up, Euclid will face off against Shaker Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mentor, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Mentor Cardinals duke it out with Howland Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
