Soccer Game Preview: Cape Fear vs. Purnell Swett

Cape Fear's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Ledford.

Cape Fear hit Ledford with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mallory Cavey, Andi Brinker, and Alexis Young.

Meanwhile, Purnell Swett waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Tigers 9-0. That looming 9-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rams yet this season.

Purnell Swett's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Cape Fear, they now have a winning record of 2-1-2.

Cape Fear came out on top in a nail-biter against Purnell Swett in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will Cape Fear repeat their success, or does Purnell Swett have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
