Baseball Recap: Harbor Creek Huskies vs. St. John Fighting Herald

On Friday, Harbor Creek got themselves on the board against St. John, but St. John never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over the St. John Fighting Herald. The high-scoring effort was just what Harbor Creek needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Sam LaFuria made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit over four innings pitched. LaFuria was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Tyler Burick was incredible, going 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and a triple. Preston Lanagan was another key contributor, going 1-for-2 with a triple and a run.

On St. John's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aj Henslee, who went 1-for-1 with a stolen base.
