York Institute not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1, 2024 (when they won 16-1). Everything went their way against the Jackson County Blue Devils as they made off with a 19-9 win. This was a revenge game for the Dragons: when they faced off against the Blue Devils last Wednesday, they had to take a 20-5 defeat.

York Institute's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-10. As for Jackson County, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

York Institute has already played their next match (against Cumberland County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Jackson County, they will venture away from home to face off against Red Boiling Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
