Basketball Recap: Golden Belt Home Educators Comes Up Short

Golden Belt Home Educators kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Newton HomeSchool Panthers by a score of 53-51.

Newton HomeSchool found their leader in sophomore Ephraim Oller, who shot 47% from the field en route to 22 points and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Oller has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Samuel Fistler, who posted ten points.

The win (which was Newton HomeSchool's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-15.

As of now, neither Golden Belt Home Educators nor Newton HomeSchool have any future games scheduled.
