Baseball Recap: Charlotte Latin Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Charlotte Latin got themselves on the board against Cary Academy on Saturday, but Cary Academy never followed suit. Everything went their way against the Cary Academy Chargers as they made off with an 11-0 victory.

Jackson Coble tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero hits, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Max Thune was a standout: he scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Brayden Hampton, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Charlotte Latin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cary Academy only posted a batting average of .067.
