Basketball Game Preview: Morgan Eagles vs. Avalon Eagles

The Morgan Eagles will head out to challenge the Avalon Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Morgan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Morgan is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They received a blow last Friday as they fell 41-26 to Kopperl.

Meanwhile, Avalon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 49-10 loss at the hands of Newman International Academy.

Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Avalon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Morgan took a serious blow against Avalon when the teams last played back in November of 2022, falling 45-16. Thankfully for Morgan, Haley Zaidle (who posted 23 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
