Volleyball Recap: Boise Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Boise suffered their biggest loss since October 24, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Owyhee Storm, falling 3-0. The Brave haven't had much luck with the Storm recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

While Boise ultimately came up short, they really made Owyhee work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 28-26.

Kya Hueth paced Boise's offense, picking up nine kills. Hueth got some help from Kamryn Newberry and her 11 assists. Newberry was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Leading Owyhee to victory were Mary Irwin and Bella Hordemann. Irwin had eight digs and two blocks, while Hordemann had 25 digs and three assists. The dominant performance also gave Irwin a new career-high in assists (43).

Boise's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
