Softball Recap: Orthopaedic Comes Up Short

If Orthopaedic was feeling good fresh off their 15-1 takedown of Santee last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Orthopaedic Vipers fell just short of the Torres Toros by a score of 8-7 on Thursday. The Vipers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Orthopaedic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Torres, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orthopaedic will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Annenberg at 2:00 p.m. on April 2nd. As for Torres, they will head out to challenge Bernstein at 4:00 p.m. on March 28th.
