Football Game Preview: Orangewood Christian Rams vs. Holy Cross Lutheran Academy Crusaders

Avery McDonald looked great while leading her team to the win, rushing for 39 yards and two scores. Those two rushing touchdowns gave her a new career-high. Paige McClarnon got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Orangewood Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. McDonald led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by herself. McClarnon got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Holy Cross Lutheran Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-34 heartbreaker at the hands of Lake Mary Prep. On the bright side, the 34- point effort marked the Crusaders' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Holy Cross Lutheran Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Orangewood Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
