Volleyball Recap: Lindhurst Comes Up Short

Lindhurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Golden Sierra Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Wednesday.

While Lindhurst ultimately came up short, they really made Golden Sierra work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 35-33, 25-19, 16-25, 25-18.

Austin Cole had an outrageously good game for Golden Sierra as he had 39 assists.

Lindhurst's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Golden Sierra, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Lindhurst has already played their next matchup (against Oroville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Golden Sierra, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mesa Verde at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
