Football Recap: Graham Takes a Loss

Graham fell victim to Southern Alamance and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Patriots, falling 76-0. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southern Alamance to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacob Alexander, who rushed for 95 yards and a pair of scores. Alexander got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 72 yards. Jvan Hamby also helped with two TDs in total.

Graham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Southern Alamance, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Graham is set to challenge their familiar foe Southeast Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Southern Alamance will take on rival Person at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 846 yards in their previous games.
