Softball Recap: Randle's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

While Randle's victory against Fort Bend Marshall wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions never let the Buffalos get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since February 14th.

Randle's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11. As for Fort Bend Marshall, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Randle and Fort Bend Marshall could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Lions (ranked 735th) will meet Lamar Consolidated (ranked 149th) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fort Bend Marshall will face off against Victoria East at 5:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (1111 vs. 527).
