Volleyball Recap: Grand Valley Beats Chalker for Their Third Straight Victory

Grand Valley waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Chalker Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Grand Valley never let Chalker on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-22, 25-20.

Rylee Rogers paced Grand Valley's offense, picking up ten kills. Rogers got some help from Raegan Williams and her 14 assists. Adyson Kovacic controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Grand Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Chalker, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

Grand Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Bloomfield on the 9th. As for Chalker, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Cardinal on the 9th.
