Baseball Preview: Ellsworth Lancers vs. Traverse City Christian Sabres
The Ellsworth Lancers are taking a road trip to challenge the Traverse City Christian Sabres at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Ellsworth will be strutting in after a victory while Traverse City Christian will be coming in after a defeat.
Ellsworth will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Buckley, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Lancers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bears a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Lancers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Ellsworth is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-8 otherwise.
