Soccer Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lexington

Columbus kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Lexington Minutemen by a score of 3-2. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Columbus couldn't quite close it out.

Richard Salazar and Thomas Adabo scored both of Columbus' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Columbus is set to square off against their familiar foe Millard South at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Lexington will take on rival Pius X at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
