Recap: Abbeville Christian Academy Generals vs. Lakeside School Chiefs
The Abbeville Christian Academy Generals stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Lakeside School 80-38 at home. The win was familiar territory for Abbeville Christian Academy who now have four in a row.
Leading Abbeville Christian Academy to victory were Shi Crawford and Jp Sowell. Crawford dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten assists, while Sowell dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Crawford posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Jamarcus George, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Abbeville Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Lakeside School, their loss was their 15th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-13.
Abbeville Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Chambers Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Chambers Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 340th, while Abbeville Christian Academy is ranked 143rd). Lakeside School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
