Remington can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They skirted past the Ell-Saline Cardinals 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Broncos have posted since September 16th.

Remington had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-10, 25-16.

Ell-Saline lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Rio Rairden, who had 13 digs.

Remington's win bumped their record up to 8-15-1. As for Ell-Saline, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Ell-Saline didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Ellsworth on the 25th. Hopefully Remington paid attention to the Cardinals' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cardinals at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
